The Trump NFT Collection is a hit, causing a price increase
OpenSea's data shows that the minimum price for this collection is about 0.19 ETH, or $230, which is more than twice the original mint price.
The Donald Trump non-fungible token (NFT) digital trading card collection sold out early Friday morning.
At the time of writing, OpenSea reports that the collection has seen a trading volume of 900 ETH, or about $1.08 million. As of this writing, the lowest possible purchase price is 0.19 ETH, or roughly $230, more than doubling the original $99 price.
Some tokens are fetching much higher prices than others. One-of-a-kind NFTs, which make up 2.4% of the total collection size (roughly 1,000), can fetch as much as 6 ETH on the secondary market. The going rate for one of these collectible trading cards depicting the 45th President holding a torch in front of the Statue of Liberty is 20 Ether, or about $24,000.
