In recent months, projects merging AI with blockchain and crypto have been in the spotlight. This comes on the back of the release of the GPT model and hundreds of subsequent AI tooling, which have created a massive buzz for the AI sector. The path towards HyperCyle

HyperCycle AI-focused blockchain network is launching in May and has the potential to become the future of blockchain infrastructure. The founder's journey began in 1999-2000 with the goal of creating a decentralized underpinning for global AI networks. However, the technical aspect of decentralizing AI proved problematic, and it took more than two decades to find a solution.

In 2015, Ethereum provided a clear way to make a decentralized AI network function. SingularityNET was developed to provide a basic decentralized framework for multiple AI agents to interact, outsource tasks, and collaborate. However, limitations of Ethereum became apparent during its development, leading to a porting effort to Cardano.

The tokenization of compute resources was also addressed by the NuNet project, which launched in 2021 as a spinoff of SingularityNET Foundation. The project provides a network and marketplace for the provision and request of hardware resources. While AGIX is what clients and AI agents pay for AI services provided by agents on the SingularityNET network, the NTX token is what AI agents pay for the compute resources that they utilize to do the processing needed to provide their services.

Additionally, the SingularityNET ecosystem also includes SingularityDAO, a dapp that offers AI-managed trading products and a launchpad for SingularityNET projects that allows investors to get in early on new ecosystem projects. Now, this ecosystem is getting another, significant boost with the introduction of HyperCyle.
